More money for highway projects COLUMBUS, OH (WOUB) -
The Ohio Department of Transportation apparently will invest three million dollars in new money into a Lawrence County project.

It's for detailed design work on the State Route 7 Chesapeake Bypass....which is supposed to "help ease congestion and spur economic development in Southern Ohio."

The project has just been recommended by the Transportation Review Advisory Council.

Also recommended - four million dollars more for right of way purchases for the Portsmouth Bypass. © Copyright 2012, WOUB
