Congressman can't commit to vote on health care reform
Wilson, a Democrat, spoke at a news conference yesterday.
"I would support the Senate bill with changes that take out the special deals for certain states" said Wilson. He also wants a bill that would "improve affordability for middle class families and adjust the...excise tax on high cost health plans."
"I'm waiting for the final language of the reconciliation bill to see the changes for myself before I can commit my vote," Wilson said.
Opponents of health care reform plan to rally in Marietta today, outside Representative Wilson's office there.
Americans for Prosperity and Marietta OH 912 Project are planning a "Hands Off Our Health Care" event.
Americans for Prosperity claims the bill "would kill jobs, hurt patients and doctors, erode our freedoms and raise taxes."
