Pelotonia Rider Killed COLUMBUS, OH (WOUB) - Authorities say a 57-year-old Ohio woman biking in a charity ride was killed after a pickup truck struck her bicycle.

The State Highway Patrol says the rider, Michelle Kazlausky, was taken to a local hospital, where she died Saturday. The man driving the pickup truck was taken to the same hospital.

Patrol spokesman Max Norris says the driver, 57-year-old Ervin Blackston, hit Kazlausky after he failed to heed a trooper's signal to stop. Norris says authorities are investigating the collision and plan to present their findings next week to prosecutors, who would decide whether to proceed with charges.

Kazlausky was riding in the Pelotonia Tour, which raises money for cancer.
