Ohio Moves into Political Spotlight Friday

(wosu) - Barack Obama, will embark on a bus tour of battleground states Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan later this week after Obama
receives the Democratic presidential nomination. John McCain returns to Ohio for a rally Friday.

The Obamas and Biden will depart Denver Friday for Pennsylvania,the first stop on the tour. They will be in Cleveland on Saturday for a memorial service for five-term Democratic Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones. She died unexpectedly last week at the age of 58.

Arizona Senator and GOP nominee-in-waiting John McCain is scheduled to hold a rally Friday in Dayton. It has been suggested that McCain will announce his choice for vice-president during that event.
