Christopher Purdy talks about the best in local arts for the week, including: The Magpie Consort presents DANCES AND LULLABIES," a program of delightful madrigals, secular and sacred dances, evening hymns, and lullabies, beginning on May 25; The Wexner Center for the Arts Silent Stars: has showings of silent screen stars the Talmadge Sisters; The OSU Department of Theatre presents "Working," a musical based on the work by Stephen Schwartz; and in late May, composer/pianist Marvin Hamlisch returns to Columbus to perform with the Columbus Symphony.
