Dinner at Rosendale's WOSU Restaurant Reviewer Rich Terapak and WOSU's Marilyn Smith have dinner in the Short North this week at Rosendale's.

Soundbites goes upscale this week with dinner at Rosendale's in the Short North. WOSU Restaurant Reviewer Rich Terapak and WOSU's Marilyn Smith ventured out after dark, forgoing their typical lunch date, since the North High Street restaurant is only open in the evening.
They wanted to sample the cuisine prepared by highly trained owner-chef Richard Rosendale.
Terapak says the bread that was served was really good with some great and different flavors of butter.
They sampled 4 dishes -- The lobster corn dogs, lamb sliders, beef spring rolls, and fish and chips.
The lamb sliders were their favorite and Smith says the Tuscan fries were very good as well with a balsamic flavor. Terapak says the fish and chips was a little disappointing.
Smith says the location of the restaurant is interesting because the location used to be the home of a car dealership. She also recommends that you take advantage of the valet parking because it is not always easy to find a space in the Short North.
WOSU Restaurant Critic Rich Terapak and WOSU's Marilyn Smith can be heard in Soundbites, Mondays at 12:35pm during NPR's "Day To Day" on WOSU 820.
