New Mozart Location In Bexley
WOSU Restaurant Critic Rich Terapak and WOSU's Marilyn Smith review Mozart's Bexley.
by Rich Terapak and Marilyn Smith
The relatively new Mozart's location in Bexley is the destination for Soundbite reviewers Rich Terapak and Marilyn Smith.
The pastry-based restaurant is owned by a couple who moved to Columbus from Switzerland in 1995.
The Sahas now own and operate four restaurants in Columbus.
Terapak says this is the place to go for baked goods.
Both Terapak and Smith loved Mozart's Hungarian Goulash. They say it is well-priced and a bargain for lunch. Terapak says it is rich, flavorful and the best thing they had.
Terapak also had the Club Salad, which he did not rave about. He said it was standard and he was looking for something unique like the goulash.
Smith had the Schnitzel which she says was disappointing. The chicken was too thin and the breading was too thick.
But the desserts are outstanding! Desserts and afternoon tea are two things they do very well.
Mozart's located at 2152 Main Street at the corner of Parkview in the new Gateway Complex in Bexley.
It's open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea.
