New Columbus Hot Dog Restaurant is a Hit with Reviewers.
Specializing in hot dogs and sausage, the downtown Columbus restaurant is drawing big crowds. "Soundbites" is WOSU's look at restaurants in and around Columbus and Central Ohio. by Rich Terapak Columbus, OH "Dirty Franks" is Restauranteur Elizabeth Lessnor's latest culinary offering to the city of Columbus. Lessnor is the owner of "Surly Girl" and "Betty's", both located in the Short North and the "Tip Top" on Gay Street downtown.

Located at 248 North Fourth Street, downtown, "Dirty Franks" specializes in hot dogs, sausage and bratwurst. Members of the WOSU Soundbites Team, WOSU's Marilyn Smith, long-time WOSU Restaurant Reviewer Rich Terapak and his son, Rich recently visited the little eatery.

"Dirty Franks" is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
