Christopher Purdy previews the best of Central Ohio arts begiining the week of March 16, 2009 Columbus, OH The Columbus Symphony will be playing at the Ohio Theatre on March 21 and 22, with pianist Emanuel Ax. Christopher Purdy will give a pre-concert talk on Friday night. Saturday night's show will be broadcast live on WOSU 89.7 FM;

Early Music of Columbus present Ensemble Lucidarium: La Istoria de Purim io ve racconto:
Music and poetry of the Jews in Renaissance Italy. This takes place Sunday, March 22 at Capital University;

The Carpe Diem String Quartet will be playing at COSI on Sunday, March 29, at 4:00 PM. The show is titled: "Seize the Music - From Russia with Love";

and The Metropolitan Opera's production of "La Sonnambula" by Bellini will be shown on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at multiple local theaters.
