Christopher Purdy previews the best of Central Ohio arts begiining the week of March 9, 2009 The Columbus Symphony will be playing at the Palace Theatre on March 13, 14, with Rachel Barton Pine, violin. The program includes Rossini - Overture to Semiramide; Wieniawski - Violin Concerto No. 2; and Mozart - Symphony No. 41, K. 551 Jupiter;

Also on Saturday, March 14, Cghamber Music Columbus presents the Dorian Wind Quintet with Caroline Hong, piano, and Katherine Borst Jones, flute;

The Central Presbyterian Church, 132 S. Third Street, hosts pianist Gail Niwa and her brother, violinist David Niwa, on Sunday, March 22;

The Carpe Diem String Quartet will be playing at COSI on Sunday, March 29, at 4:00 PM. The show is titled: "Seize the Music • From Russia with Love";

Ballet Met continues their highly-reviewed "Alice in Wonderland" through the end of March;

and The Columbus Gay Men's Chorus joins with the Columbus Children's Choir to present "Joseph and the Amazing Technocolor Dreamcoat on March 20 and 21.
