Local Theater Company Specializes in Irish Plays

Kevin McClatchy and his wife Lisa are the founders of Carrickmacross Productions. The company specializes in Irish theater and documentary films. Joy Reilly is a Theater Reviewer for WOSU. She regularly reports on theater in Central Ohio. by Joy Reilly Columbus Carrickmacross Productions is staging Ronan Noone's "The Blowin of Baile Gall" at Madlab Theater in June. The play speaks to the notion of personal identity tied to land ownership and what happens when its threatened.

Kevin McClatchy is the Artistic Director of Carrickmacross and an actor in the show. He explains to WOSU Theater Reviewer Joy Reilly, he called on other local talent to fill the other roles and positions backstage.

Kevin McClatchy along with his wife, Lisa are the founders of Carrickmacross Productions. "The Blowin' of Baile Gall" will be performed at Madlab Theater at 105 Grant Avenue beginning June 12th. It runs through June 27th.
