by Joy Reilly

Columbus Children's Theatre normally produces plays and musicals for young audiences, but this summer a production of "Sweeney Todd" is an exception.

This musical, with adult themes, is being staged by the theatre's "Pre-professional" company. This group is comprised of students ages 16-to-21. Artistic Director of Columbus Children's Theatre Bill Goldsmith talked with WOSU Theater Critic Joy Reilly about the production.

"Sweeney Todd" opens Thursday, July 10 and runs through July 27.
