Kim Simmonds of Savoy Brown called into Rock-it Science Sept 12 to chat with host Greg Lewis. He spoke about his 47 year career from his days of playing with John Lee Hooker in 1967 to what it is like today for him. Kim remains an active relevant recording and touring artist. He shares what has and hasn't changed for him in that regard. Savoy Brown played throughout the USA, Canada, Europe, Brazil, Japan and Hawaii the past year or so while releasing both a studio and live CD. A new release is scheduled for early 2014. Kim is considered one of the greats from the British Blues invasion of the 1960's and has influenced many guitar players.
