For those who have not been to Webster Hall, it is located on 11th Street in Manhattan, about a few blocks from the N and R subway lines. It is both a concert venue and nightclub. Built in 1886, Webster Hall has gone through several incarnations over the years. But enough about history, let's focus more on the concert.
Due to a transit issue (thank you NJ Transit and Amtrak), I missed most of the opening act, but at least I got to the venue. The one downside I found with New York City venues is that food and drink prices are pretty steep. If you do plan on attending a show in the city anytime soon, plan ahead.
After the opening act finished, Ra Ra Riot hit the stage at around 9pm (little fuzzy on the exact time) to great fanfare from the crowd It was almost like the venue was made for a band like Ra Ra Riot.
The band finished up around 10:30pm, with one more encore. Then it was a dash to the subway for a trip to Penn Station New York, catching the train home.
