The Rolling Stones made the official announcement this past week that they will be playing 2 dates in December at the Prudential Center in Newark. So I have to play some Stones! Half of the show will spotlight New York City late 70’s “new wave/punk rock” stuff inspired by the new Tom Tom Club ep “Downtown Rockers” & Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist, Flea turns 50. We’ll also play the music of Tom Petty (61) & Chuck Berry (86) on their birthday week. We’ll get to a killer track from the new, soon to be released “Sunken Condos”, the fourth solo album from Steely Dan co-founder Donald Fagen.
