Daniel volunteers for an annual walk to raise money to help dig wells for the Maasai people in Kenya, East Africa through the Maasai Cultural Exchange Project www.quenchthethirst.org. The women must walk approx. 20 miles each day to provide clean water for their families.
Daniel also hosts a weekly world music radio program on WNTI, 91.9 fm, public radio from Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ. www.wnti.org programming public radio shows for 35 years at various stations and believes that the music of cultures from around the world can provide a global perspective you can't hear on commercial radio.
