Their rock and roll anthem, 'Let There Be Rock,' got the whole crowd crazy...

Drive By Truckers opened their set Halloween night at Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans with "Strutter" by Kiss, the night's headliner with the band members in Kiss make-up and guitarist Mike Cooley singing lead vocals. Their Southern rock-solid set was heavily laced with Mike Cooley songs like Three Dimes Down and Zip City mixed with Patterson Hood tunes and a few sung by bassist Shonna Tucker.

Drive By TruckersTheir rock and roll anthem, 'Let There Be Rock,' got the whole crowd crazy and Mike Cooley kept giving credit for all of his songs to Ace Frehley from Kiss. Under the almost full moon in New Orleans' City Park on a clear cool autumn evening DBT ushered in the Halloween night in grand style.
