The weather held out and the crowd went wild at the Bourbon St. Blues Festival Saturday May 16, 2009 with Precedes benefiting the Lebanon Twp. Education Foundation.

Headliners included The Voo Dudes, Billy Hector Band, Johnny Fedz & Da Blues Boys, Blues Tonic, Eric Steckel & The Craig Thatcher Band, and The Don Mayer Band. The pavilion stage had many fine acts also one of which was the Mike Esposito Trio which is always a treat to see.

Screaming guitars, horn sections, harps (harmonicas), mandolins, lots of drums and bass filled the air from noon until 8:30pm and everyone was happy with the great day of music, food, and fun.

Thank you to the Education Foundation committee for doing this for the second year in a row and Bourbon St. Wine and Spirits for being the presenting sponsor. Kennedy Events took good care of the sound and stage and are always a pleasure to work with.
