He's lent his skills to Queens of the Stone Age, Screaming Trees, The Twilight Singers and Soulsavers, but his recent solo album Blues Funeral ? billed as the work of The Mark Lanegan Band ? is a real highlight of his discography.

In this studio session, Lanegan reveals some unexpected influences (including The Bee Gees), and describes "blues" as more of a feeling that can inform many styles of music, not just a genre label.
