This edition of Contours is the fourth and last in a series of specials on the Byrds. Guest co-host Joe Janci explores the band's history and the other musical artists they have influenced over the years.

About Joe Janci
Joe has been involved with a passion for music ever since The British Invasion 1964. He began to play guitar and bass and gradually got into a focus on being a singer/songwriter. Following the trail of various bands the actual serious recording of original tunes began in the late seventies continuing to this day. Joe released a duets CD entitled 'The Jancys in 2004'. He is currently completing a solo CD. Joe is also involved with pitching songs to several publishers in Nashville as well as continuing to perform.

The upcoming Byrds Special - Part 4 produced for WNTI will cover the influence and legacy of the band. Joe has promised to return should a group reunion occur. Plans call for Joe to eventually retire to Nashville, his home away from home.
