Sexiest Man Alive - 3rd two-time winner; The Doors' new box-set; Ken Ober of MTV's Remote Control died at 52

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan Last Saturday night; Bruce Springsteen bellowed "Hello, Ohio!" to his fans at the Auburn Hills Palace. That's in Michigan. The 60-year-old rock legend referred to the neighboring state several times Friday night until E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt whispered in his ear. A visibly embarrassed Springsteen grinned and said such a mistake was "every front man's nightmare."

The Doors' new box-set, Live in New York, is due out tomorrow. The six-disc collection was recorded in January 1970, when the band played four shows at New York's Felt Forum. The string of 1970 shows were notable because they featured the debut of several songs that would be included on the Door's Morrison Hotel album, which they released soon after the shows. The Felt Forum shows were also the last ones to be played by the Doors in New York before Morrison's death in 1971.

Ken Ober, former host of MTV's Remote Control, has died at 52 of a heart attack.

The U.S. Post Service did not escape the effects of the economic meltdown. The USPS on Monday said it suffered a net loss of $3.8 billion for fiscal 2009, which ended Sept. 30. The loss came despite $6 billion in cost savings and $4 billion in reduced payments for retiree health benefits, the agency said in a press release. The USPS slashed 40,000 jobs, but it still employs more than 712,000 people.

Giants ace Tim Lincecum won the NL Cy Young Award on Thursday for the second consecutive season to become the first repeat winner since Randy Johnson, emerging from one of the tightest votes in the history of the honor. The wiry right-hander, nicknamed "The Freak" for his giant stride, went 15-7 with a 2.48 ERA. Only 10 points separated the top three vote-getters. Chris Carpenter was second and St. Louis teammate Adam Wainwright was third, despite getting the most first-place votes.

Retired NBA star Jayson Williams has agreed to a plea deal that would send him to prison for up to three years for accidentally shooting a driver at his New Jersey estate in 2002.

For just the third time ever, there is a two-time winner of People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" award. On Wednesday, Johnny Depp joined Brad Pitt (1995 and 2000) and George Clooney (1997 and 2006) as the only two-time winners of the much-debated title.
