When Griese's fellow broadcast Chris Spielman questioned why NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya wasn't on the list, Griese replied that he was "out having a taco." Oops! ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz has announced that Bob Griese has been suspended for a week. Griese has apologized for the ill-attempt at humor.
Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi is currently receiving stem cell treatment for a hand ailment. According to a recent radio interview, Iommi tried several different ineffective remedies before turning to the heavily debated treatment. "I have to wear a guard on my hand to prevent me from banging it. But it's coming along good," Iommi said. "The cartilage went out on the joints, so the joints were rubbing on the joints. It was bone on bone and it was getting a bit painful."
Singer Morrissey was discharged from hospital after collapsing on stage on Saturday evening with apparent breathing difficulties. Morrissey returned to the stage Tuesday night.

Peter Gabriel is set to release an orchestral covers album. Entitled 'Scratch My Back', the album is reported to be a "song swap" with a host of "extremely legendary artists" set to cover each other's material. A few alleged tracks for 'Scratch My Back' is as follows:

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is set to perform at a small solo charity concert in New Hampshire on January 23 to benefit Child and Family Services. "Dream On: An Intimate Evening with Steven Tyler" will see the singer perform songs on a piano, present concert footage, conduct a question and answer session, and tell stories about his career and struggles with addiction.
