The R.E.M. reissue campaign continues with a 25th anniversary deluxe edition of their second album, 1984's Reckoning, due out June 23 on I.R.S./A&M/UMe. Like last year's deluxe treatment of R.E.M.'s debut, Murmur, the deluxe Reckoning is a two-disc set. The second disc contains a live show taped at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on July 7, 1984 and aired on Chicago radio station WXRT. The Aragon show features eight Reckoning songs, old songs "Gardening at Night" from Chronic Town and "Radio Free Europe," "9-9" and "Sitting Still" from Murmur, and new songs "Driver 8" and "Hyena", which would show up on Fables of the Reconstruction and Lifes Rich Pageant, respectively.

Def Leppard will issue expanded, remastered editions of two of their multiplatinum-selling albums -- 1983's Pyromania and 1992's Adrenalize -- on June 23. Each release will come with a second CD of bonus tracks. Pyromania's extra disc will boast a 15-song performance recorded during a 1983 Los Angeles gig, while Adrenalize's will include rare B-sides, demos and acoustic tunes. Both collections will offer new booklets with updated liner notes and previously unreleased photos of the band.
Fox announced that it has renewed the sci-fi thriller Fringe for a second season, with a full 22-episode order. Fringe, a mysterious X-Files-esque series featuring plenty of gruesome murders and tons of mythology, is the No. 1 new drama among adults 18-49 this season.

David Hasselhoff was rushed to an L.A. hospital after suffering alcohol poisoning Saturday. The former Baywatch star was reportedly taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after his daughter Hayley, 16, found him unconscious on the floor of his home in Encino, California.
Dom DeLuise died Monday night. He was 75. The comedian died in his sleep after a long illness.
Former Klan leader David Duke has been detained by police in the Czech Republic on suspicion of denying the Holocaust. Duke went there at the invitation of neo-Nazis to promote the Czech translation of a book he wrote. A police spokesman says the book includes a denial of the Holocaust. The denial is a crime that is punishable by up to three years in Czech prisons. Charles University in Prague banned a lecture by Duke that had been scheduled this past Tues for students taking a course in extremism.
A former Illinois police officer suspected in his wife's disappearance may have a new job - on a TV reality show set in a Nevada brothel. Drew Peterson said he's considering an offer to appear as an employee at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch near Reno for an HBO adult series called "Cathouse." Bunny Ranch owner Dennis Hoff on Wednesday said Peterson was invited to spend the upcoming weekend at the brothel to discuss working there. Hoff said he has proposed hiring Peterson to head the brothel's security detail.
Wal-Mart agreed Wednesday to pay nearly $2 million and improve safety at its 92 New York stores as part of a deal with prosecutors that avoids criminal charges in the trampling death of a temporary worker last year.
Gene Simmons Family Jewels, the A&E reality series starring the Kiss bassist and his clan, will return for a fourth season starting next month. The hour-long season premiere -- which will feature the rocker's daughter, Sophie, celebrating her 16th birthday -- will air June 7 at 10 p.m. ET.

You've all seen them. Those ubiquitous TV ads where a simple little pill transforms a man suffering from ED into a virile tiger who puts a smile on the face of his now beaming wife…..Enter H.R. 2175. That's a bill that Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) introduced last month that would prohibit any ED ads from airing on broadcast radio and TV between 6AM and 10PM. The bill advises the FCC to treat these ads as "indecent" and instruct stations to restrict their broadcast to late night and overnight hours.
Drew Peterson, the brash, mustachioed former police sergeant who found tabloid fame after his fourth wife's disappearance more than 1 1/2 years ago, was indicted Thursday in the drowning of an ex-wife found dead in an empty bathtub in 2004. Peterson, charged with first-degree murder in the death of Kathleen Savio, was arrested during an evening traffic stop near his Bolingbrook home and was being held on $20 million bond, Illinois State Police Captain Carl Dobrich said.
A Van Halen-themed Guitar Hero is in the works. An Activision executive reports that the video game, which is due out later this year, will focus on the David Lee Roth-fronted version of the band. Tunes by the Offspring, Weezer and other "guest artists" also will be featured.

Bassist Donald "Ean" Evans of the Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd has died of cancer at his home in Mississippi. He was 48. He joined Lynyrd Skynyrd in 2001 and had been touring regularly with the band until being diagnosed with cancer in 2008, when he cut back on performances with the band.
