Assault suspect sought in Negaunee NEGAUNEE, MI (wnmu) - Negaunee Police are searching for a suspect who assaulted a girl in her home. Officials say the incident occurred Tuesday around 5:05 a.m. on the 300 block of County Road. The male allegedly broke into and entered the home, assaulted a juvenile female, then fled. He's described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall with short, dark hair. He's believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, and was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and dark sweatpants. Officials believe the suspect was seen in the same neighborhood Monday night.
