The Gladstone City Commission is still looking for a new city manager. The commission has looked at several different options however, have decided to keep the search within the city. Tom Sinnaeve is the Mayor of Gladstone. He says it is important for the community to keep in mind that they are looking for the best possible candidate they can find. Sinnaeve says some characteristics they are looking for in the new city manager include; working cooperatively with the city commission and understanding the needs of the community.
