Marquette Township to purchase land for water wells
(2008-09-22)
(wnmu) - The Marquette Township Board has decided to add two-wells to its drinking water project. Township Supervisor Ray Adamini says it will cost about $300,000 to purchase land where the wells will be constructed near Morgan Meadows. He says the project will help end the Township's reliance on the City of Marquette for its water.

Adamini says the drilling process has already begun, and the new wells will eventually be part of a five-well complex.
