NMU expands international program
Siles says NMU officials are already planning a trip to Argentina and Peru next summer. He notes the programs are a big part of one of NMU President Dr. Les Wong's goals in the Road Map to 2015, which is to increase students' international exposure.

Northern Michigan University has signed cooperative agreements with the University of El Salvador to expand student exchange programs in Latin America. Marcelo Siles is NMU's Director of International Programs. He says the exchange offers students the opportunity to learn about different cultures, gain travel experience, and supplement their resumes. Siles says NMU officials are already planning a trip to Argentina and Peru next summer. He notes the programs are a big part of one of NMU President Dr. Les Wong's goals in the Road Map to 2015, which is to increase students' international exposure.
