IRS finds errors in delayed economic stimulus payments

The Internal Revenue Service says residents are making errors that are delaying their economic stimulus payments. Officials say some guidelines individuals should use to avoid common mistakes include filing only one tax return, listing qualifying income, reviewing their tax liability, and updating their address. Taxpayers must file their 2007 tax returns by October 15th in order to receive an economic stimulus payment.
