Michigan Tech sees increase in enrollment

Michigan Technological University has seen an increase in enrollment for undergraduate students this fall. Enrollment has increased by 12 percent, to 7,014 students. John Lehman is the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Services at Tech. He says the increase will financially benefit the school and the Houghton community.Lehman says in 2006 the school had an enrollment goal of reaching 7,000 students by the year 2010. He says reaching that goal two years early is an important achievement.
