U.S. Representative Bart Stupak has been honored by the National Farmers Union. The group has given the Menominee Democrat the 2008 Golden Triangle Award its highest legislative honor. It's presented to members of Congress who demonstrate leadership on issues relevant to the nation's farmers, ranches, and rural communities. Stupak was one of two Michigan members of congress to receive the award.
