Newberry walkaway caught SOO JUNCTION, MI (wnmu) - An inmate who walked away from the Newberry Correctional Facility has been recaptured. Officers noticed 23-year-old Kevin Joseph Burg was missing Tuesday when he failed to report for his shift. A Department of Natural Resources officer spotted a man who looked like the suspect fleeing into the woods Wednesday night. After an all-night search, Burg was found hiding in the Toonerville Trolley gift shop in Soo Junction. He's been transferred to a maximum-security facility. © Copyright 2009, wnmu
