State Police are looking for escaped Newberry inmate NEWBERRY, MI (wnmu) - Authorities are still searching for a Newberry Correctional Facility inmate who walked away from the facility Tuesday. State Police say 23-year old Kevin Joseph Burg failed to report to corrections officers during his shift at the facility. He was last seen around 2pm. Officials say he was wearing his state prison blue uniform at hte time he walked away. Burg is described as a 6-foot 1-inch tall white male with brown hair and brown eyes weighing 195-pounds. He was serving time for breaking and entering. State Police are asking anyone with information to call the Newberry Post at 906-293-5151. © Copyright 2009, wnmu
