Founder's Landing parcel sold MARQUETTE, MI (wnmu) - A portion of Founder's Landing in Marquette has finally been sold. The Marquette City Commission approved the sale of the middle parcel to The Landing Development Group for just over $1 million at its meeting Monday night .

Landing Development Group Managing Partner Ron Thorley says it's been a long process, but he's pleased with the result. He says the group plans to build condominiums on the site both flats and townhouses. Thorley says some foundations may be poured yet this fall, but most of the construction will take place in the spring.
