NMU hosts Education Summit
One of the key speakers at the event was Mike Flanagan, Superintendent of Public Instruction for the Michigan Department of Education. Lawmakers and educators spoke about the future of Michigan's schools at the 12th Annual Upper Peninsula Education Legislative Summit at Northern Michigan University. Friday's summit focused on children's education and how to solve some of the problems they face.
