MAPS starts health program MARQUETTE, MI (wnmu) - Marquette Area Public Schools have initiated a new health program to encourage better health among employees. The program, called the "Fall 2008 Wellness Program" entails the MAPS district and 6 fitness centers offering each employee up to 3 visits to a fitness center between September 1st and December 1st. Jon Hartwig is the Superintendent of the MAPS district. He says the program will greatly benefit the employees and improve overall education.
