MAPS starts health program

Marquette Area Public Schools have initiated a new health program to encourage better health among employees. The program, called the "Fall 2008 Wellness Program" entails the MAPS district and 6 fitness centers offering each employee up to 3 visits to a fitness center between September 1st and December 1st. Jon Hartwig is the Superintendent of the MAPS district. He says the program will greatly benefit the employees and improve overall education. Hartwig adds that so far he has received very positive feedback from employees who have participated in the program.
