A member of the Hannahville Indian Community has been sentenced in Federal Court for domestic violence. David Metzger, 23, of Wilson was charged last August with Domestic Assault by a Habitual Offender. He allegedly choked his former girlfriend in front of their three children, and had five prior domestic violence convictions in Tribal Court involving the same victim. Metzger was sentenced to five years in prison and three years supervised release.
