Public TV 13 gets grant to go digital
By law, all full-power TV stations in the country will stop broadcasting in analog and switch to digital on February 17th, 2009.

Northern Michigan University's public television station has received federal funds to convert to digital technology. WNMU-TV 13 has been awarded $633,231 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development Program. The money will be used to convert studio facilities from analog to digital and purchase high-definition digital remote production equipment. By law, all full-power TV stations in the country will stop broadcasting in analog and switch to digital on February 17th, 2009.
