Northern Michigan University will be hosting several events to start the new school year. Activities include; a fall make-up orientation for NMU freshmen and parents today through Friday, notebook distribution at the NMU Superior Dome tomorrow and Friday from 9am to 5pm, new NMU faculty will have a casual orientation tomorrow at 5:30pm at Donckers on Washington Street, NMU President Les Wong will hold a fall convocation address today at 4pm in Jamrich Hall room 102, and Fall Fest will take place on the first day of classes from 11am to 3pm next Monday at the Academic Mall where students can interact with 50-to-60 community businesses and 15-to-20 community, volunteer, and student organization opportunities.
