Twenty reservation residents arrested on drug charges
The recently established UPSTTF is responsible for the investigation of violent crimes on the five Indian reservations in the U.P. Twenty Upper Peninsula Indian tribe members have been arrested on federal, state, and tribal drug distribution charges. The arrests are the culmination of a nine-month investigation by the FBI's Upper Peninsula Safe Trails Task Force, the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team, and the Hannahville Tribal Police Department. charges include distribution of prescription drugs, marijuana, and cocaine.The recently established UPSTTF is responsible for the investigation of violent crimes on the five Indian reservations in the U.P.
