The President of Finlandia University is saddened that a stabbing could occur on his campus. The incident occurred early Friday morning in a dorm room. One student was cut in the finger when he tried to intervene, while another needed surgery for his stab wounds. A suspect was arrested later that morning. President Philip Johnson says he's personally troubled that such a thing could happen at Finlandia. He says those students who graduate this week will have their commencement clouded by the incident. Johnson says the safety of students is his highest priority.
