Marquette General Hospital is temporarily restricting the number of visitors to its patients. Officials say an increase of influenza cases in the community is to blame. Right now, only essential visitors will be allowed, children will not be permitted to visit patients, and those who are ill are encouraged to stay away. Officials say the restrictions will remain in effect until further notice.
