State Senators address the problem of wolf attacks
The Gray Wolf was recently removed from the endangered species list in Michigan. Prusi says Wisconsin and Minnesota are allowed to defend their livestock,so Michigan should, too. The bill was recently appointed to a committee and must go through a hearing before it can be considered for passage.

State legislators have introduced a bill to deal with livestock protection from wolf attacks. Michigan Senators Mike Prusi and Ron Jelinek are addressing the issue due to concerns expressed by farmers and pet owners. Prusi says the bill gives farmers the right to kill wolves if they attack their livestock.The Gray Wolf was recently removed from the endangered species list in Michigan.
