Marquette Senior high school teacher Karen Angeli was recently named Secondary Reading Teacher of the year. The award was given by the Michigan Reading Association. Angeli began employment with the Marquette area public schools in 1978. She earned her BS degree from Western Illinois University and completed post-graduate work at Northern Michigan University.
