CCI looks to renewable fuel cubes

Cleveland Cliffs has acquired 70 percent interest in a Minnesota biofuel company. CCI Manager of Public Affairs, Dale Hemmila, says Renewafuel produces dense cubes made from components like wood fiber, switch grass, and corn stalks. He says it's an opportunity for CCI to use a better fuel than coal, since the cubes are cleaner and produce less emissions.Hemmila says the fuel cubes have been tested at the Empire mine in Palmer.
