The Dalai Lama to Speak at University of Michigan
(2007-12-17)
(wnmu) - The Dalai Lama will deliver a special lecture on sustainability at the University of Michigan in April. The speech by the exiled leader of Tibet will be free and open to the public, but tickets are required. There is a limit of two per person, and they will be available through the Michigan Union Ticket Office in early March. The Dalai Lama is best known for advocating peace in dealing with political conflict. He fled Tibet in 1959 following an aborted uprising against Chinese rule in the territory. © Copyright 2013, wnmu
