Marquette officers in partnership with AAA Michigan, are promoting safe holiday parties. Free samples of non-alcoholic drinks will be served by officers from 11am to 2pm, Monday December 10th at the AAA office in the Westwood Mall in Marquette. The Safe Holiday campaign seeks to remind holiday hosts and hostesses that a great party is one where everyone makes it home safe and sound. In addition to the non-alcoholic drinks, motorists are encouraged to participate in the Mothers Against Drunk Driving campaign by tying a red ribbon to their car, which represents the motorist's promise to help make the holidays safer by driving sober.
