A Gwinn man has been arrested for assaulting an Ishpeming woman. Frank Schiefel, 33, is accused of sexually assaulting the 27-year-old woman in a wooded area in the city of Ishpeming Sunday. He's charged with 3rd Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, punishable by up to 15 years in prison. Schiefel is currently lodged in the Marquette County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond. A preliminary hearing is set for November 27 in 96th District Court.
