Negaunee man arrested for Chocolay thefts

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP, MI

A Negaunee man has been arrested for stealing power tools from various sites in the area. The Chocolay Police Department says Kenneth Lee Plaugher, 42, reportedly took the tools from homes and construction sites, then sold them. Officials are asking residents who may have bought power tools from Plaugher, or had tools stolen in the past six weeks, to contact them at 249-4040. Plaugher remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail.
