Troopers from the Negaunee post are investigating a breaking and entering in Negaunee Township. Officials say the incident occurred Monday around 6:30 p.m. at a residence under construction. When the owner of the house entered the building and interrupted the B&E in progress, the suspect fled out of a second-story window. The homeowner then had contact with the suspect just outside the house. The man is described as about six feet tall and 220 pounds, in his mid-to-late-20s, with fair skin. He was wearing a black hat and black coat, and drove a gold, mid-90's model Buick Park Avenue. It was a four-door with rust on the fenders and had a child safety seat in the back, but no license plate.
