State Police from the Negaunee post are investigating a home invasion in Skandia Township. Officials say the incident occurred October 6 on Townhall Road. Troopers believe the suspect entered the residence with the intent of stealing prescription drugs. Anyone with information regarding this or any similar incident is asked to call State Police at 475-9922. Police are reminding residents to use nighttime lighting when possible, lock doors and windows, and keep all prescription drugs out of view in a secure location.
